Manchester City 6-Chelsea 0
Manchester City were simply a class above Chelsea on Sunday.
City went into the game knowing they needed to win to keep the pressure on 1st place, Liverpool.
Chelsea, on the other hand, needed to win to move back into a Champions League spot.
It would be Man City who struck first at the Etihad as Raheem Sterling put them 1-0 up inside four minutes.
4’ GOAL!
It wasn’t the first minute, but close enough.
Chelsea fall asleep and City take full advantage through Raheem Sterling.

The Argentine added a second not long after before Ilkay Gundogan made it 4-0 in the 25th minute.

Chelsea’s worrying defensive stat
After Gundogan made it 4-0 to Man City, a stat has emerged that will worry Chelsea fans.
Chelsea lost 4-0 to Bournemouth on January 30th.
As a result, it is the first time the Blues have conceded four goals away from home in back-to-back top-flight matches since 1990.
4 – Chelsea have conceded four goals in consecutive away top flight matches for the first time since December 1990. Capitulating.

Chelsea will now remain in 6th place for at least another week and given Man United’s form, it is hard to see them falling out of the top four anytime soon.
