Tottenham’s left-back crisis vs Dortmund & Harry Kane/Dele Alli blow

Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Ben Davies and Danny Rose all missed training on Tuesday ahead of Borussia Dortmund.

Davies and Rose’s absence come as a worry for Tottenham Hotspur as it leaves Mauricio Pocehttino’s side without a left-back.

Meanwhile, for Kane and Alli, the Champions League tie has arrived just too soon for the duo.

Tottenham left-back crisis: Rose and Davies miss training

Pochettino has been dealt what looks to be another injury blow with Rose joining Davies on the sidelines.

The Welsh full-back has been missing since the defeat to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-final at Stamford Bridge.

Rose has been covering the 25-year-old but his withdrawal against Leicester City now looks to have been explained.

Pochettino could look to Jan Vertonghen as the player to fill the void at left-back with Davies and Rose both missing.

The Belgian impressed in the same role for Spurs as they beat Newcastle United 1-0 just over a week ago.

Kane misses Tottenham training ahead of Dortmund

Kane was also absent from the club’s training session on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old has been sidelined since Spurs’ 1-0 defeat to Manchester United last month after suffering ankle ligament damage.

Mauricio Pochettino claimed on Friday that Kane’s recovering was progressing well and he was close to making a return.

Tottenham have a ten-day break after Dortmund and Kane is expected to return when the north London club face Burnley.

Alli has also just returned from warm-weather training in Dubai as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
