Mauricio Pochettino among the managers take a long hard look at the 24-year-old forward
Tottenham Hotspur have been highlighted as one of three clubs currently targeting Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller.
Spurs have held interest in the former France Under-21 for some time, watching him during his prolific spell with FC Utrecht in the Eredivisie between 2015 and 2017.
Haller, 24, joined Frankfurt the summer before last and while he’s had some dips in form and playing time he has still managed to score 19 goals in 49 games, while also impressing with his all-round ability.
According to Faz.net, Newcastle United are also listed among his suitors, along with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
Not only does he find the net regularly, his work with team-mates is also key to his game, allowing him to garner five German top-flight assists so far this term.
Tottenham are likely to need a replacement for striker Fernando Llorente, who seems set to quit the club next summer, if not in January, and Haller, it appears would fit the bill as a technical and hard-working forward.
talkSPORT have previously considered the Frenchman as a possible solution as a secondary forward to Harry Kane.
