Belgian maestro may quit the north London club before his contract expires next summer
Tottenham midfield maestro Mousa Dembele could be set for a move to Juventus in January as the Italians look to add quality depth to their squad.
The Italians have a long-standing interest in the Belgian star, famed for being tough to dispossess and with a brilliant ability to carry the ball forward.
Doubts about the long-term fitness of former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, who recently had surgery on a thyroid nodule, have forced Juve into considering their transfer options as it is unclear how long he will be out for.
As such, Corriere di Torino says that may involve a raid on Spurs.
Dembele is out of contract at the end of the season when he can walk away from the club as a free agent.
But Spurs may attempt to cash in on him during the January sales in order to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.
Juve have been regularly linked with Dembele, who is also a target for wealthy clubs in China, but they could finally make their move with Can absent.
The 31-year-old is still considered an important member of the first team at Spurs and has played 10 times in the Premier League so far this season.
