Solskjaer rates Wolves & issues lofty praise for Paul Pogba after Chelsea

Wolves vs Man United

The standout tie in the FA Cup quarterfinals will be Wolves versus Man United.

Molineux will surely be packed out for the tie scheduled for March 16.

At the time of writing, Man United are fourth in the Premier League with 51 points.

Wolves are seventh in the league with 39 points.

These sides have met once in the league already. Back in September, Wolves claimed a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Fred opened the scoring for Man United, before João Moutinho levelled for a share of the spoils.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rates Wolves

After the win over Chelsea, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked for his feedback on drawing Wolves in the next round. He said:

An away tie again!

You know you’ve had Arsenal and Chelsea so you hope for a home game.

But that’s it. Wolves away. We have to do it the hard way. They’re a very tough team to play against.

Paul Pogba vs Chelsea

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was also asked to rate Paul Pogba’s performance against Chelsea.

The French World Cup winner set up Ander Herrera for United’s opener.

Pogba then scored the second goal with a diving header.

According to Solskjaer, Pogba is currently living up to his reputation at Old Trafford:

He had a tough game against PSG but he was probably our best player then. He had two or three players around him all the time.

Tonight [Monday] was a great response, playing against one of the best defensive midfielders in the world with [N’Golo] Kante next to him.

We know he’s one of the best attacking midfielders in the world. He has vision, so the cross for Ander’s goal was fantastic.

Then the way he plays the ball out to Marcus [Rashford] and gets into the box for the second was fantastic, too.
