Hysaj has worked under Blues boss Maurizio Sarri at both Empoli and Napoli and his agent claims he is “a player who can do well in English football”
Chelsea transfer target Elseid Hysaj is worth more than £50 million, according to his agent.
Defender Hysaj, who operates as a right-back, has starred for Napoli for the past three seasons and is attracting interest from England.
The 24-year-old has worked under Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri at Empoli and Napoli – and the Italian is reportedly keen on a third reunion.
Hysaj’s agent, Mario Giuffredi, believes his client would thrive in the Premier League.
“If you see Napoli are playing [fellow right-back Kevin] Malcuit and hear they’re looking at other players, it means there are also enquiries,” Giuffredi told Radio CRC.
“Those who say otherwise are misinformed. Hysaj is a player who can do well in English football, given he’s very physical and being watched by big clubs.
“Is he worth €50 million? He’s worth €60 million (£53m) for me.”
Chelsea are well stocked with right-backs as Cesar Azpilicueta and Davide Zappacosta continue to fight for places.
