The 18-year-old Turkish starlet has impressed Red Devils scouts with his performances in the Super Lig
Manchester United are tracking Galatasaray centre-back Ozan Kabak ahead of the Janaury transfer window, according to reports.
Manager Jose Mourinho is desperate to strengthen his defensive options and Turkish starlet Kabak has impressed for the Super Lig side.
The 18-year-old has been watched by United scouts this season, and they have returned with glowing reports.
According to The Sun, Kabak has impressed the Red Devils with his ability in the air at such a young age, and they are now considering a bid.
Galatasaray are said to value the defender at around £20million, but there are rumours of a £7m buyout clause for clubs outside Turkey.
And United aren’t the only club interested, with Premier League rivals Arsenal plus Italian clubs Roma and Inter Milan also keen.
It is also claimed Galatasaray want to extend Kabak’s deal and increase his buyout to more than £30m, as they look capitalise on the new interest in their starlet.
Mourinho has suffered a defensive crisis this season with a number of injuries to his key men.
Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly have all suffered setbacks and Luke Shaw has also struggled to stay fit.
