Arsenal 1 – Huddersfield 0
Arsenal picked up maximum points against Huddersfield on Saturday in the Premier League.
But while many may have assumed Arsenal would have beaten Huddersfield easily, in the end the Gunners only won 1-0.
Lucas Torreira was the Arsenal match-winner seven minutes from time.
The result means the Gunners have extended their unbeaten run to 21 games.
This week Arsenal take on Qarabag in the Europa League, before travelling to Southampton in the Premier League next Sunday.
Huddersfield’s two penalty shouts vs Arsenal
Huddersfield could have won two penalties at the Emirates Stadium.
The first penalty shout came just before the hour mark, when the match was still goalless.
A ball was played into Alex Pritchard in the Arsenal box, and Hector Bellerin was forced into a challenge.
Did Bellerin make contact with the ball?
It looked as if the arsenal right-back only managed to nick Pritchard’s leg in the box.
Pritchard hit the deck, but the referee waved refused to award the penalty.
In the 87th minute, Huddersfield had a second penalty shout.
This time striker Laurent Depoitre went down in the Arsenal box are a coming together with Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
Sokratis never made any contact with the ball.
Instead the TV replays clearly showed how the Arsenal centre-half nudged Depoitre in the box.
Huddersfield fans upset with MOTD’s highlights
Surprisingly, neither of Huddersfield’s two penalty appeals were included on Match of the Day’s edited highlights.
A few Huddersfield fans have taken to social media to shout about MOTD’s apparent bias.
Poor editing of the game by MOTD this evening. Show both Arsenal ‘simulation’ incidents in the penalty area but fail to show either of Huddersfield’s along with how the referee lost it during the first half.

@BBCMOTD well done lads. Maintained standards on poor biased pundits on Arsenal Huddersfield game. 3 x booked for diving was “disappointing” and swept under carpet. Other incidents not covered.
Arsenal biggest cheats going should be stamped out. @GaryLineker
