Ed Woodward & Manchester United

Man United have today revealed their latest financials.

In the newly released documents, which are required as Man United are listed on the New York Stock Exchange, chief exec Ed Woodward penned a few eye-catching comments.

Woodward on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

In midweek Champions League action, PSG handed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his first defeat since becoming the interim boss.

Yet Solskjaer’s record remains impressive. Aside from the defeat, the Norwegian has 11 wins and a draw.

Will Solskjaer get the job on a full-time basis?

That’s unclear, however Woodward seems pleased with how OGS is getting on. Woodward told Man United’s shareholders:

The appointment of Ole (Gunnar Solskjaer) and Mike (Phelan) as caretaker manager and assistant manager, working with Kieran, Michael and Emilio, has had a positive impact throughout the club.

We are delighted with the improvement in the team’s performances since December and we look forward to a strong finish to the 18/19 season.
