Juventus 3 – Atletico Madrid 0
Juventus booked their spot in the Champions League quarterfinals with a 3-0 home win over Atletico Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo lead Juve to a remarkable comeback win after the Bianconeri lost 2-0 in Spain.
Prior to this week’s match, Ronaldo had only scored once in the Champions League.
Ronaldo has been the leading scorer in the Champions League in the past six seasons.
Cristiano Ronaldo vs Diego Simeone
Cristiano Ronaldo aimed a dig at Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone during the win in Turin.
In the first leg, Atletico’s Argentine coach celebrated his side’s success with a ‘cojones’ gesture.
That clearly upset Cristiano, who mimicked Simeone’s moves in the second leg.
While most had a little giggle about Ronaldo’s gesture, UEFA don’t appear to have a sense of humour.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Champions League ban fears
Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting on Thursday that UEFA may issue Cristiano Ronaldo with a Champions League ban.
The likeliest outcome is that Ronaldo will be hit with a fine.
Simeone was fined €20,000 for his celebration in the first leg.
However there’s the possibility that Ronaldo will be slapped with a ban as well.
UEFA will open an inquiry into the Ronaldo gesture at the end of #JuveAtletico. He risks a fine like Simeone, but if it were considered a mocking gesture towards the opposition fans it could turn into a disqualification for a game. [GdS] pic.twitter.com/8VqYKhVqwj
