Photos have emerged of Bournemouth’s latest training session ahead of the Cherries’ clash with Everton this weekend, with Callum Wilson nowhere to be seen.
Bournemouth vs Everton
Eddie Howe’s men are set to welcome the Toffees to the Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon for a Premier League matchup.
Bournemouth head into proceedings on a dismal run of form, having picked up just a solitary win from their last 8 outings across all competitions.
Their latest fixture saw the Cherries ousted from the FA Cup by Brighton & Hove Albion.
Everton, meanwhile, have not exactly set the world alight themselves of late. Marco Silva’s men have secured 3 points in just 1 of their last 8 league outings.
The Merseysiders’ latest two outings saw them fall to consecutive defeats at the hands of Brighton and Leicester.
However, Everton’s hopes of victory this weekend have today been boosted by photos emerging from Bournemouth’s latest training session.
Eddie Howe’s squad took to their training base, situated beside the club’s Vitality home, this morning, with star striker Callum Wilson having worryingly been nowhere to be seen.
As such, the Cherries’ standout is viewed as a major doubt to feature on Sunday as things stand.
On a more positive note for Bournemouth, however, both Ryan Fraser and Nathan Ake were present and trained as normal:
Looks like Solanke (hamstring) is working away from the main group. Potential RTP in early Feb. Fraser and Ake were pictured in training but Callum Wilson wasn’t. Missed the FA Cup defeat to Brighton through injury. Eddie Howe PC scheduled for Friday morning. #AFCB pic.twitter.com/BqkYgbPXQ3
