MonU is a 501(c) non-profit corporation overseen by an Executive Board. The Board is the overall policy making group for MonU; its primary responsibility is determining and maintaining the long range vision and direction of the Association. The executive board is also responsible for the actual functioning of MonU on an annual basis.
This elected group works throughout the year to ensure a successful program for all MonU members. The Executive Board is the decision making body of MonU. All questions relating to the regular operation of MonU are handled by the Executive Board.
The Executive Board is the current MonU President, the four most recent Past Presidents, Executive Vice-President(the Immediate Post President of MonU), VP of Communications, VP of Finance, VP for Venues, VP of Recreational, VP of Competitive and VP of Volunteers. Other positions on the Executive Board are Director of Coaching and the Executive and Assistant Executive Director of Soccer Operations. These three are paid positions; as is the VP of Finance.
The officers are elected at the winter general meeting for one year. (President, VP Venues, VP Communication, VP Competitive, VP Volunteers). The group responsible for the successful conduct of the annual program is the Executive Board.
